STANDING STRONG WITH YOU AND FOR YOU

FOCUSED ON COMMUNITY. ROOTED IN INTEGRITY. COMMITTED TO SERVE.

My name is Darrian Botts. I am a Richmond, Kentucky, native, and a proud daughter of Madison County who found a professional home as a private attorney at the law firm of White, McCann & Stewart, PLLC, located in Winchester, Kentucky, Clark County.   I now seek to serve as District Court Judge, Division I of the 25th Judicial Circuit, serving Madison and Clark Counties out of a deep commitment to public service and my dedication to the two communities that have played significant roles in shaping my personal and professional journey. In handling complex civil litigation and criminal defense work in Kentucky District, Circuit, Family, and Appellate state courts in over 15 counties in the Commonwealth, I have come to understand that the District Court is often the public's first point of contact with the legal system.  I believe the judiciary carries a solemn responsibility to follow and uphold  the law with integrity, fairness, patience, and compassion; while recognizing the profound impact judicial decisions have on individuals, families, and communities.

As a Judge, my mission would be  to safeguard the rights of all who come before the court without bias, to listen carefully, to rule impartially, and to ensure that justice is administered with dignity, respect, and humility.  I am committed to maintaining the public’s trust and confidence in the judiciary by remaining fervently committed to the equitable application of the rule of law.

My goal is to contribute to a fair, accessible, and respected court system within the 25th Judicial Circuit that serves members of the Madison & Clark County Communities from all walks of life. I humbly hope to earn your support as I work to serve two communities that I love and call my personal and professional homes.

Together, we can build a judiciary that is reflective of the voices and the values of all the people that it serves.
